Friends Of Radstock (FOR) Friends of Radstock is the Parents and Teachers Association for Radstock – it is a registered charity (charity number 1091812).

FOR is run by a group of parent volunteers and is separate from the school.

FOR’s motto is fun, fundraising and friends and we are looking forward to a fabulous year ahead. Joining FOR is a great way to get involved with the school. By volunteering you can meet other parents, make new friends and do something very worthwhile for our amazing school.

There are so many ways to get involved for example, 1 hour a month helping at events, designing posters at home, planning the events or helping tidy up the school (weeding, painting etc). We know everyone is very busy and so whatever you can offer would be gratefully received. No minimum commitment is required.

How do the children benefit? Our committee has lots of great ideas to involve children and parents in having fun and raising much needed funds to support the children’s learning and development.

We have an exciting calendar of events planned which aims to celebrate the diversity of our school community. We are always looking for new ideas and inspiration – so why not come along to one of our meetings or contact us on FOR@radstock.wokingham.sch.uk with your ideas.

FOR have purchased a number of items over the last few years including:

Read Write Inc. (phonics programme)

resources for Forest Schools
